Weblab supports a heterogenious distribution of cone angles. In this case the final spectrum is a superposition of motional averaged spectra calculated for several cone angles and weighted with the probability given by the distribution function. Possible distributions are:
| Box | ![]() | |
| Gauss | ![]() |
From the cone menu you supply θ0 as the center of the distribution as well as the full width 2σ. All values are entered in degree. The use of these formulas should be restricted to small values of σ.
When pressing View, weblab shows a sketch of the distribution function, it will use in its calculation.
It is not possible, to consider a distribution of jump axes or jump rates together with a distribution of cone angles. If you are interested in one of these, set 'no' for cone angle distribution.
