With type of motion you specify the number of sites for jumps on the cone. It is assumed that all jumps occur instantaneously between these sites. If you choose a 4- or 6-site jump, the jump angle ϕ is fixed and set to 90o or 60o respectively. In the other cases (2-site or 3-site jumps) you can use any value. The actual positions of the sites depend on the choice of the x- and y-axes of the cone axes system (see topic ⇒ Cone Model). Weblab uses the convention that the x-axis is symmetrical to all sites, leading to the following assignments for the site positions:
2-site
3-site
4-site
6-site

The option 1-site is usefull in combination with a (homogeneous) distribution of jump angles. It is not available in basic mode.

Rotation can be used if you want to study a free rotation of a segment. This option is activated only in fast limit, where it is treated like a 3-site jump with equal jump angles and populations.
