Weblab contains a variety of features, which can be usefull in special situations. The number of these features has grown from version to version, so Weblab could evolve into a powerfull tool with the disadvantage, that the complexity of the menu grew as well.<p>
This is the reason, why we decided to provide a <i>basic</i> and an <i>expert</i> version. While the latter gives access to all features of Weblab, the former is restricted to those features which are mostly requested by Weblab users.

If you switch between both modes during a session, Weblab will keep all those parameters, that are available in both cases. With <i>Preferences</i> you can preselect the mode in which Weblab should be started.
